Annette (mom) and sisters Amy & Pam Hadikin are often called the 'Rawthentic Gals' and are known for creating wonderful amazing fresh alive foods, coaching and teaching courses. These three ladies with a great deal of help from their partners and family started Rawthentic Eatery in October of 2008 and already in two short years have expanded and recently received a prestigious award for New Business of the Year in Qualcum Beach through the Chamber of Commerce.
It's been a long journey to finally open the doors and without the help and effort of each of the ladies and their family this would not have been possible. You can find a saying written on their wall in the Eatery that says it all.
"We may not have it all together, but together we have it all". These Rawthentic Gals feel blessed to have had the vision and the drive to make Rawthentic Eatery a reality, and they feeled honoured to have the support of this incredible Oceanside Community and the Communities on Vancouver Island. When the 'Rawthentic Gals' talk about their family, this word is extended to their regular customers and those that come seeking health. There is such joy in what they do, when they have customers, now friends and new family, tell them "this food is amazing, I didn't know what to expect and I never expected this food to be this good in taste and be incredibly healthy for me at the same time!" Annette, Amy and Pam here this all the time and it's the driving force behind creating new recipes and putting a 'whole lot of love' into everything we do and make.
Their story is simple, Pam and Amy had been flirting with raw foods for six years, starting off with smoothies, then raw chocolate and the beginnings of simple dehydrating when with their partners they had a desire to open a place they could go to eat great tasting, healthy food and have it fast! It wasn't possible for Pam and Amy to run the business full time as both continue to run their other businesses. Then two years ago, their mom, Annette attended a 'Raw Rose Retreat' and after a weekend of enjoying and preparing incredible raw delights Annette had no pain in her knees and was full of energy. It was after this weekend that she let Amy and Pam know she was in and would help to open and manage Rawthentic Eatery.
Since that day, Annette has been the back bone and you can find her almost everyday at Rawthentic with a great smile and preparing something wonderful. Amy and Pam are grateful for their mom and love that they all get to share a passion that is helping others and their entire family!
Rawthentic Eatery was not possible and is not possible without the incredible help and support of their entire family! Gratitude and love go out to them all daily!
